Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $60,000 to $90,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage routine accounting functions, including processing payments owed and payments received.
• Support month-end activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and assisting with reconciliations.
• Maintain organized financial records to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Assist leadership with various financial tasks and projects as operational needs arise.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
• Prior experience handling basic accounting tasks such as billing, vendor payments, or account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and standard financial procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software and common office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with accuracy.
