About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Variable Schedule (Days, Nights, Graves) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment — candidates can expect approximately 30–40+ scans per 12-hour shift
• Operate GE and Toshiba CT equipment accurately and efficiently
• Work independently and efficiently with a 1:1 technologist-to-scanner ratio
• Maintain patient transport responsibilities as needed based on staffing levels
• Document and chart using the Epic electronic health record system
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced certification required
• Active CA CRT license required — pending licenses not accepted
• CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience; community hospital experience required
• Must be open to all shift start times (6:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 5:45 p.m.) — specific shift requests cannot be accommodated; high need for graveyard shift
• Variable schedule required; weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submission — post-submission RTO may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care or community hospital setting
• Familiarity with GE and/or Toshiba CT imaging equipment
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
