Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary: The Emergency Room RN will provide urgent, high-quality care in a fast-paced, community-focused free-standing emergency and urgent care setting. The role begins with a short-term assignment at MUSC Health Florence, transitioning to full-time coverage at the new facility. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult patients, utilizing evidence-based clinical practices. Assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately, prioritizing care based on acuity. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans. Maintain meticulous documentation within Epic electronic health records. Follow all safety protocols, including advanced life support and emergency response procedures. Ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, and facility-specific training requirements. Qualifications: Hold an active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license. Possess a minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required; CPI and TNCC preferred. Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting system. Be adaptable to variable shift schedules, including night hours. Demonstrate excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
