Assistant Property Manager

Leading NYC based real estate firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join the property management department, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties in New York City, Massachusetts and South Florida. Primary Responsibilities Include: Assist in overseeing management of daily operations of the properties Assist and coordinate and maintain regular physical property inspections Maintain maintenance records, logs, inspection reports, and inventories Maintain communication with building superintendents and on-site engineers Assist and ensure full compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and ownership standards Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs for systems and equipment at each property Assist and respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and service requests Respond to building emergencies, that may include after-hours situations Assist and maintain close communication with building superintendents and on-site engineers regarding any scheduled work or maintenance Assist in managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors Assist and monitor performance and procure insurance and compliance from each vendor, supplier, contractor and subcontractor Assist in overseeing contractors to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with building standards. Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets for each property Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent property management experience 5+ years experience in property management Must be organized, motivated, self-starter who is detailed oriented Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and problem-solving skills Knowledge of building systems and operations Experience with Yardi and Microsoft Office #J-18808-Ljbffr Rabina
