RN - PACU

Registered Nurse (RN)The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to patients and their families, focusing on independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions. The RN executes the Standards of Nursing Practice, which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Responsibilities include:Developing and revising individualized plans of care for patients.Coordinating care among interdisciplinary teams.Delegating patient care activities to other care providers when appropriate.Participating in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.Implementing leadership qualities and skills to enhance practice standards and the environment of care.Promoting exceptional patient care to improve patient outcomes.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (ICU/ED) required.Minimum 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience required.ICU critical care experience is required.Previous travel nursing experience is required.Proficient in Epic electronic health record system.Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.Experience with pediatric to geriatric patient populations.Experience in a Trauma Level I environment.Schedule Details:0700-15300900-17301100-19301500-2330/40Weekend shifts are required every third weekend. No on-call responsibilities are expected for this position.The RN role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care while adapting to the dynamic needs of a diverse patient population throughout their life cycle.
