Therapist

Role Description Full-time, on-site Therapist role based in Bonita Springs, FL. The Therapist will provide individual psychotherapy to adults and other populations served by the institute, with a focus on mood, anxiety, addiction, and treatment‑resistant conditions. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting sessions and progress notes, and collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other clinicians on integrated care. The Therapist will support patients engaged in TMS and other neuromodulation or pharmacogenetic‑guided treatments, helping them process experiences and integrate clinical recommendations into daily life. Additional responsibilities include participating in case conferences, contributing to program development and quality improvement, maintaining ethical and regulatory compliance, and engaging in ongoing professional development aligned with the institute’s neuroscience‑based model. Qualifications Active, unrestricted clinical license in Florida (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent) and a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Clinical skills in individual therapy, including experience with evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma‑informed care, or integrative psychotherapy. Experience or strong interest in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, addiction, and treatment‑resistant or complex psychiatric presentations. Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care with psychiatry, neuromodulation (e.g., TMS) providers, and other specialists. Comfort with neuroscience‑informed and biologically integrated treatment approaches, including psychopharmacology, pharmacogenetics, or functional/holistic mental health concepts (training can be provided). Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills, including familiarity with DSM‑5 and electronic health record systems.
