AutoCAD DesignerRoseville, California, United StatesAbout the Job AutoCAD DesignerHiring: AutoCAD DesignerLocation: Roseville, CAExperience required: 3 YearsEducation level: High school or equivalentJob function: DesignIndustry: Facilities ServicesJob Description:This is a career position in design and project management for automatic fire sprinkler systems in commercial tenant improvement/new construction projects.The person in this role will complete company-sponsored training and certifications relative to those activities.This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD drafting functions.Applicant must also be proficient in Microsoft Office, be a good communicator, and possess excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.Job Responsibilities:Coordinate with general contractors and other subs to gather required information to design the projects sprinkler system.Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCADCreate material listings for projectsPerform hydraulic calculationsWork with other departments within the company to hand over proper job information.Maintain organized records, including but not limited to tracking of submittals, change orders, and permits.Must have:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler DesignerProficiency in AutoCADExperience with BluebeamAbility to perform hydraulic calculationsStrong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
