Registered Dietician

Position Title Registered Dietician Location Puller Veterans Center Key Responsibilities Manage the clinical nutrition system to ensure optimum nutrition for all residents. Interview new admissions and develop initial nutritional care plans, reviewing them quarterly. Attend resident care conferences and ensure all aspects of the care plan are implemented. Apply knowledge of the Food Service Department operations, including budget controls, personnel actions, quality food production, sanitation, safety, and nutritional care. Support the Food Service Director when necessary in purchasing, production, and service of food. Enter all budget figures, menus, nutritional information, and dietary notes. Train the Dietary Service Program Assistant in entering budget figures, menus, resident care, and dietary notes. Assist with other duties within the Dietary department’s mission as required to meet the facility’s overall needs. May be required to assist the agency or state government in emergency situations declared by the Governor. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees, residents, and families to resolve problems promptly and in accordance with the Code of Conduct. Abide by laws, regulations, policies, and procedures governing facility operation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in clinical Dietetics. Certified Dietary Manager required.
