Meat Clerks are responsible for preparing, packaging, displaying, pricing, and merchandising any and all meat products and other items maintained by the department. Meat Clerks inform customers about meat products and other meat department items.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service at our Meat counter and over the phone
- Package, weigh, label, and merchandise meat products to ensure freshness and quality
- Mix and prepare store-made sausage
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of meat products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Reliable and dependable; able to work flexible schedule
- Able to safely operate equipment

Physical Requirements:
- Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire work day
- The ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible hours

Education and Work Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1-2 years experience in a Meat Department preferred, but not necessary Special Instructions
