Prescription Scheduler

Prescription Scheduler $23.00- $24.00 per hour / DOE Monday Friday 8:30am-5:30pm A Pharmaceutical company in the city of Whittier is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator –Delivery Scheduler to join our team at our corporate headquarters. In this role, you will act as a crucial link between our operations teams and our patients, ensuring the smooth execution of new orders and the implementation of customized customer solutions. Prescription Scheduler Responsibilities: Accurately schedule new and refill prescription deliveries to patients and physician offices via phone or email. Collect patient copayments and complete patient assessment questionnaires with each delivery. Send patient hardship program forms as required and follow up on their return. Answer all scheduling phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Contact patients or physician offices in the event of a delivery delay to provide updates and resolve issues. Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients, providers, and peers. Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure timely resolution of all issues. Report any misconduct, suspicious, or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer. Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support operational efficiency. Prescription Scheduler Requirements: Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and consistent records. Capable of evaluating options and making efficient decisions. Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software, as well as effective use of the internet and email. Working knowledge of pharmacy applications and medical terminology. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
