Location: Virginia Schedule: Mix of 10 hour and 12 hour day shifts. Regular hours are required. No call. Openings: 2

Position Overview: Provide CRNA coverage in a hospital setting in a collaborative care team model. This role includes a broad case mix and requires comfort working with physician anesthesiologist supervision as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope:

• Care team model with MD supervision
• CRNA to MD ratio: 4 to 1
• MDs may do their own cases as outlined in the order details
• Case mix includes general, orthopedics, obstetrics, and additional procedural area coverage as outlined in the order details
• Number of anesthesia rooms: 15
• EMR: Epic
• Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Active Virginia license required to present

Additional Requirements:

• Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Credentialing:

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 60 days

Travel and Lodging:

• Travel support is available as outlined in the order details
