About the Role

The Company is seeking a Field Chief Information Security Officer to join its Security and GRC organization. This senior, remote role is pivotal in representing the company as a credible, practitioner-level security and GRC voice in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging in strategic customer conversations, leading industry events, and contributing to the broader security and GRC community. Key responsibilities include partnering with sales, customer success, and marketing teams on enterprise opportunities, leading executive briefings, and sharing insights through various channels. The role demands a professional with a strong background in security and GRC, including a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, excellent communication skills, and a genuine reputation within the security and GRC community. Applicants for the Field Chief Information Security Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in security and GRC, with at least 10 years in leadership roles and 5 years in a CISO or equivalent senior position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of thought leadership, be comfortable with the pace of enterprise sales cycles, and have a strong grasp of security and GRC in SaaS and cloud-native environments. The role requires a strategic thinker who can operate with a high level of autonomy, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can provide direction on high-stakes security and GRC issues. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP are a plus, and the candidate should be open to regular travel.
