Speech Therapist – Paramus, NJ Location: CareOne at Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ Salary Range: $41.00 – $63.00 per hour The Speech Therapist will manage patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans for speech, voice, language, communication, swallowing, and related disabilities, provide counseling, ensure safe care environments, evaluate outcomes, modify services, and maintain accurate patient records. Responsibilities Greet patients and families in a friendly manner, creating a positive first impression. Maintain a safe and secure environment and adhere to the Agency's Attendance/Tardiness Control Policy. Assume responsibility for a patient caseload, demonstrating clinical expertise with speech/language disorders and dysphagia. Provide assessment, treatment, and intervention for speech, voice, language communication, swallowing and related disabilities. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers. Support the effective use of augmentative and alternative communication devices and other assistive devices. Evaluate treatment outcomes to assess effectiveness; modify services and refer patients as appropriate. Document plan of care and all services, maintaining patient records in accordance with Agency policy. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy. Current Speech Therapist certification in the state of operation. 3+ years of experience in Home Health, Acute Care, or Rehabilitation settings.
