Accounting Coordinator

Accounting Team MemberWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting team member. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to apply advanced accounting knowledge without direct management responsibilities. This person will play a key role in financial reporting, general ledger activities, and process improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statementsPerform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesManage general ledger activities, including journal entries and adjustmentsSupport month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely completionMaintain compliance with accounting policiesPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial dataAssist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentationIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controlsSupport optimization of financial systems and toolsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting principlesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with ERP systems (Epicor a strong plus)Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesPayroll experience a plusKnowledge of Canadian Accounting Principles a plusWe offer a full benefit package that includes Basic Life, Vision, and Short and Long Term Disability provided by the Company at no cost to you.
