The Pavilion at Canal Fulton is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. We're looking for a Director of Nursing who knows skilled nursing and wants to run a department the right way.

This Director of Nursing role is a hands-on leadership position. You'll oversee clinical care across our long-term care, short-term rehab, and secured dementia units on a spacious campus that also includes independent living cottages. Prior Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is required — we need a DON who can step in and lead from day one.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the nursing department, including RN, LPN, and STNA staff

• Ensure clinical quality, resident safety, and regulatory compliance across all units

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and nursing budgets

• Drive survey readiness and quality improvement

• Work closely with the Administrator and department heads on facility operations

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Prior Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting is required
