Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - San Jose, CA

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment
• Complete patient intake and update records in EPIC
• Take dental X-rays
• Sterilize and organize instruments
• Support a positive and efficient patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active California RDA License
• Coronal Polishing License
• Sealant License
• Dental X-Ray License

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of RDA experience
• Bilingual in Spanish, Farsi, Vietnamese, or Mandarin

Schedule

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Availability Monday-Sunday due to community events

• Charting System: EPIC
• Interview: 30-minute virtual Teams interview (camera on)

The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools/equipment. The Dental Assistant complete intake paperwork, update patient records, sterilize and organize dental tools, and assist during any dental procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Current License/Certificate within state of practice
• One year experience as Dental Assistant preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
