Data Engineer

Data Engineer needed for Planet Equity Group located in Westlake, OH. Responsibilities Perform data engineering tasks, including data modeling, data pipeline development, and cube development. Work with relational databases: schema design, queries, views, stored procedures, and performance optimization. Implement data governance and master data management. Build data pipelines that execute ETL/ELT processes to move and integrate data between data sources. Conduct DevOps activities, including code reviews, testing, alerting, documenting, retrospectives, and incident analysis. Work with Azure core data and analysis services such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Explorer, and Power BI. Build data warehouses using ETL/ELT, SQL, Data Lake, Spark, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and tabular cubes. Provide data engineering services to clients located throughout the U.S. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. No prior professional experience is required; however, the degree program must have included coursework in object‑oriented programming, system architecture, computer networks, advanced data structures, and computer and network security.
