Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience in a dental office environment
High school diploma or GED
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with medical/administrative software
Strong organizational and task prioritization abilities
Excellent communication skills and professionalism under pressure
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Ability to handle phone communications and patient interactions effectively

Job Description

Manage patient flow by answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments for doctors and hygienists, and confirming schedules
Collect payments and address financial questions during patient check-out
Monitor and fill open appointment slots consistently
Verify patient insurance benefits and maintain accurate records
Maintain patient confidentiality in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations
Keep the front desk and reception areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Collaborate professionally with colleagues, healthcare providers, and patients to foster trust and teamwork
Utilize dental office software (Eaglesoft knowledge is a plus) and basic office equipment efficiently

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Thursday until 4:00 PM)
Friday to Sunday: Closed
