Qualifications:

• At least 60 completed college credits or a valid paraprofessional certification (alternatively, you may obtain certification during your assignment)
• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a diverse team
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their potential
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom management, instructional activities, and the daily supervision of students
• Provide personalized support to students, including those with special educational needs
• Help facilitate an inclusive, positive, and actively engaged classroom environment
• Support student learning through small group or one-on-one instruction and reinforcement of educational concepts
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
• Contribute to the creation of educational resources and the setup of classroom materials as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, following the school calendar
