Electrical Technician

Pay Range: Compensation for this position is $19.89/hr plus an additional estimated $28.57/hr in production pay, paid weekly. Teammates in this position annually average between $96,500 - $105,000. Basic Job Functions: This position includes but is not limited to: The successful candidate willpossessa working knowledge of electrical principles and practical experience as itrelates to the electrical maintenance function. The technician will provide electrical support to the production crews,maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical andautomation systems. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, vacation coverage, andholidays. Two-year degree, successful completion of electrical trade school, or a minimum of three years industrial experience or military. Knowledge of automation and networking equipment and processes such as PID/closed loop control systems, networking tools and standards, Variable Frequency Drive experience (ABB, AB), and HMI programming and troubleshooting Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
