Manager, Database Programming

Overview The Manager, Clinical Database Programming leads the Clinical Database Programming (CDP) team, overseeing performance management, career development, training, and resource planning. This role provides technical expertise and governance across all EDC‑related activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and guidelines before live data entry. Responsibilities Lead and manage the CDP team, including performance evaluations and resource planning. Provide technical direction and governance for the design, configuration, validation, and deployment of study databases and eCRFs. Collaborate with Data Managers, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders to define project scope, manage timelines, deliverables, and mitigate risks across the study portfolio. Drive strategic initiatives such as the EDC Standards Library and system development. Lead corporate compliance activities, contribute to SOP development, and support business development efforts. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the department.
