HHA/PCA Per Diem Shifts- Drivers Required

Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA)

Alvita Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) in the Riverhead/North Fork area, throughout northeastern Suffolk County. We are looking for compassionate and experienced caregivers, drivers are preferred.

Essential Info:

• Shifts are 1:1 private duty, homecare or facility bedside
• We can be flexible with scheduling! Shifts are between 6 and 12 hours
• All work is per-diem, with available schedules including part-time, full-time long-term, and short-term/fill-in hours

Qualifications

• Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
• Must maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications
• Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain them
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred
• Drivers preferred
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
• Must successfully complete the Alvita Care onboarding process before accepting cases

* Subject to one year of employment and 1,560 hours worked (average of 30 hours/week).
