Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with 1-4 adult clients in a crisis respite home in Savannah, GA. The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will work with 1-4 adults with autism or other intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) in a temporary residential home to stabilize and teach behavior and independence skills. The BCBA will work on an interdisciplinary team managing scheduled behavior supports in the community through the state crisis program.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the professional team for the crisis support home.
• Ensure that all services are documented and meet all criteria for Medicaid waiver billing.
• Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc.
• Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of individuals served.
• Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
• Maintain quality outcome data.
• Complete functional assessment.
• Develop and implement BSP. Behavior Specialist will consult after discharge.
• Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT, team clinician, and supervisor.
• Modify BSP's as necessary.
• Attend all agency, departmental, and individual specific meetings as directed.
• Attend individual psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
• Conduct direct support staff training on implementation of individual behavioral support plans and related data collection.
• Supervises and assists in transport of individuals, as needed.
• Supervises and reviews all incidents of physical intervention.
• Maintain individual confidentiality.
• Assist team clinician in case management functions and discharge planning.
• Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
• Provide behavior services across all shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferred: Active BCBA license
• Minimum of two years' experience working with individuals
• Minimum: Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.
• Minimum of 35 hours of training and education in behavior analysis and behavior supports.
• If not BCBA licensed yet, must be in process for taking exam.
• Experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
