Location: Kendall Soccer Park – Field #5
Position: Part-Time Soccer Coach

Pay: $25–$40 per hour, based on experience, age group, and team level

About the Position

SFK Soccer Academy is looking for two passionate, energetic, and dependable soccer coaches who genuinely love teaching and developing young players.

We work with children from 3–15 years old , from beginners learning the game for the first time to more experienced players preparing for competitive soccer.

We are looking for coaches with patience, passion, strong character, discipline, and a positive attitude . Coaching children comes with challenges, and we want individuals who are willing to lead, teach, motivate, and help every player improve.

Most importantly, we want coaches who are also willing to learn and grow themselves . SFK coaches are expected to be open to feedback, constructive criticism, coaching courses, and learning from Academy Directors and fellow coaches.

Coaching Schedule

Coaches must have availability for:

• Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
• Occasional Saturdays for games, tournaments, or Academy events
• Practice times vary depending on the assigned team:
• • 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM
  • 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM
  • 7:15 PM – 8:15 PM

This is a part-time position with flexibility based on team assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Head Coach experience
• Experience coaching and working with children
• Reliable transportation
• Must speak English
• Spanish is strongly preferred
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and organized
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Patient and positive when working with young athletes
• Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
• Ability to represent SFK's standards, culture, and values

Preferred Certifications

The following are recommended and considered a plus:

• U.S. Soccer Grassroots 4v4
• U.S. Soccer Grassroots 7v7
• U.S. Soccer Grassroots 9v9
• Other recognized soccer coaching licenses or certifications
• CPR / First Aid Certification

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $25–$40/hour

Compensation will depend on coaching experience, certifications, assigned age group, team level, and responsibilities.
