Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide nursing care for patients with common diagnoses such as POST MI WITH SHEATH PULL, ADHS, POSTOP VASCULAR, GI BLEED, and DKA
• Titrate drips, including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene
• Read telemetry strips and manage patient care in coordination with the healthcare team
• Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor
• Utilize BiPap and Cpap as needed

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Current RN license in WV
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with step-down patients
