About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of previous experience required. At least 1 travel contract completed preferred. License: State license required. Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Must possess experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines. Experience with amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban is required. Some titration experience required. Profile must include driver's license, work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year of submission date), license verification, and a copy of required certifications. One supervisory reference is required at the time of submission. Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role involves working with patients in a progressive care setting, focusing on cardiac and telemetry needs. Candidates should be prepared to work summer holidays, which may include Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
