Position Overview: A Distribution Center Supervisor oversees the efficient operation of their functional area within the warehouse to include processing of incoming merchandise or freight and related documentation ensuring merchandise is ready for distribution to the stores.

Responsibilities include developing and supporting a team-oriented environment, ensuring department level compliance with safety and facility maintenance, directing work to meet daily needs, establishing and carrying out shrinkage control disciplines, communicating with other supervisors and managers, completing internal reporting processes, interviewing, selecting, and training associates, maintaining associate hours in the timekeeping system, and additional responsibilities as business needs arise.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, one to two years' experience in a supervisory role in a mid-size to large distribution center, ability to manage in a professional work environment, ability to maintain confidential information, efficient planning and communication skills, and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Physical Requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally, and see, hear, and speak regularly.
