Are you a talented Line Cook who takes pride in creating great food and being part of a strong culinary team?

The Elkridge Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our professional kitchen team. As a private club with a long-standing tradition of excellence, we offer our culinary team the opportunity to prepare a wide variety of exceptional food for our members and guests.

From a la carte dining and daily service to weddings, banquets, special events, and elegant multi-course dinners, no two days are exactly alike. You'll work alongside experienced culinary professionals while having the opportunity to sharpen your skills, contribute your ideas, and grow your career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and execute high-quality menu items at assigned kitchen stations
• Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquet, and special event service
• Maintain consistent food quality, flavor, and presentation
• Work closely with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and culinary team
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
• Assist with daily prep and kitchen operations
• Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials
• Work as a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking culinary professional who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in their craft.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant, hotel, country club, banquet facility, or similar professional kitchen
• Culinary education or degree preferred, but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and organized during busy service
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Food Safety Certification preferred

PHYSICAL & SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
