Quality Assurance Supervisor

QA SupervisorWhile all location employees have seed quality and a major component of their jobs, the QA Supervisor is the common link that helps to ensure that our customers are pleased with the quality of the seed we produce. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Processes bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversionVisually inspects all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearanceProcesses and submits samples for quality lab analysisWorks with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requestsMonitors finished crop quality results and initiates actions with location managers when problems are notedInitiating and releasing "SEED ON HOLD" within location warehouses and inventory systemsMaintaining a neat, clean, and organized work areaRequirements:Agricultural background is beneficialComputer skills required, advanced skills preferredUnderstanding of seed production or minimum of four years of related experienceExcellent communications skills with positive attitudeAttentive to detail and accuracyWell organizedAbout Remington Seeds:Founded in 1984, Remington Seeds is a leader in seed production and one of the world's largest third-party producers of corn, soybeans, wheat, sorghum, and sunflowers.
