Marketing Manager III (Marketing and Demand Gen Program Manager)

We are seeking a Marketing and Demand Generation Program Manager for a 9 month contract opportunity that is onsite in Tempe, Arizona. This role supports a global marketing organization focused on creating strategic sponsorship programs that strengthen partner engagement, generate demand, and drive measurable business results. About the Role: Marketing and Demand Generation Program Manager The Marketing and Demand Generation Program Manager will lead integrated, multi channel campaigns designed to drive awareness, leads, pipeline, and revenue across global sponsorship programs. This individual will serve as the primary owner for demand generation initiatives, coordinating complex projects across internal stakeholders, external agencies, and contingent team members. This is a highly visible role that combines B2B demand generation, marketing program management, team leadership, campaign operations, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate can operate strategically while remaining close to execution, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, on schedule, and against measurable business objectives. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact and owner for demand generation projects, managing leadership and stakeholder relationships while prioritizing business needs. Oversee contingent team members supporting email operations, reporting, and copywriting by providing direction, removing blockers, and ensuring high quality deliverables. Review and approve demand generation deliverables before launch to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with campaign objectives. Partner with campaign operations resources on email campaign execution and ensure alignment with broader demand generation timelines. Lead end to end project management for integrated campaigns across email, web, social, and sales enablement channels. Maintain campaign planning tools, editorial calendars, performance dashboards, renewal reporting, and recurring reporting cadences. Lead recurring team meetings and individual meetings with team members while coordinating with external agencies and cross functional program leads. Partner with reporting and analytics resources to measure campaign performance and deliver campaign wrap up reports, dashboards, and regular leadership updates. Identify project risks and delivery blockers, elevate concerns when appropriate, and drive timely resolution. Use campaign performance data, customer insights, and marketing metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Must-Have Qualifications 5 or more years of professional marketing and demand generation experience. 3 or more years of experience managing cross functional projects or programs involving multiple stakeholders. Strong experience with B2B demand generation campaign operations and email marketing execution. Experience managing or overseeing contingent workers, vendors, agencies, or matrixed team members. Experience using data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance and drive improvements. Strong Excel or Tableau experience, including data manipulation, charts, pivot tables, and related reporting capabilities. Demonstrated experience building, executing, and scaling cross functional marketing programs or campaigns from concept through completion. Experience with marketing automation, email platforms, web analytics, and CRM technologies such as Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, or comparable platforms. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience providing clear updates to senior stakeholders. Experience within B2B technology marketing, cloud services, partner marketing, or sponsorship marketing. Experience using customer research, data, and marketing metrics to support assumptions, forecasting, and campaign performance analysis. Familiarity with Airtable or comparable project tracking tools. Experience managing external vendors or agency partners. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience managing distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones. Experience developing and executing global or multilingual marketing campaigns. Marketo certification or advanced hands on experience with Marketo. PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification. Familiarity with SharePoint, WorkDocs, or comparable document management and collaboration platforms. Experience managing external agency relationships, including recurring meetings, deliverable alignment, timeline management, and quality oversight. Demonstrated experience communicating project status, risks, recommendations, and performance results to leadership.
