Successful applicants will primarily teachPrinciples of Electrical Engineering and Laboratory courses and mayteach other foundational engineering courses in the future. Education and Experience: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, or a closely related field with a minimum of 18graduate hours in the discipline. Previous experience teaching Principles of ElectricalEngineering and Laboratory courses. Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level. Prior relevant industry experience. Preferred Qualifications: An earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, or a closely related field with a minimum of 18graduate hours. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Ability to interact effectively and professionally withstudents, university administrators, and the general public. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks. Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Other information: The above job duties may not be performed in every AdjunctFaculty position and might not include all related duties that maybe performed. Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary appointments, assignedper semester and on an as-needed basis.
