Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with GI and advanced procedure expertise to support endoscopy and gastrointestinal services. The ideal candidate will assist with high-level procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedure efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist during advanced GI procedures such as ERCP, PEG placement, EUS, Spyglass, FNA/FNB, Capsule endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and EBUS.
• Circulate and support clinical staff in high-acuity procedures, maintaining sterile technique and adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring all necessary documentation and labs are completed within required timeframes.
• Maintain compliance with travel, licensing, and certification requirements, including verification and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes during complex procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid RN license with current certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in endoscopy, GI, or related service line.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced GI procedures and associated clinical skills.
• Be able to work 5x8 hour shifts plus call, with flexibility for schedule requirements.
• Comply with travel and drug screening policies, including negative drug test results prior to assignment.
