Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join its collaborative Emergency Department team in Gadsden, Alabama. Annual Emergency Department volume of approximately 42,000 visits
27-bed Emergency Department with Fast Track
30 hours of physician coverage daily
18 hours of NP/PA coverage daily
hours of Emergency Medicine scribe coverage daily
Cerner EMR system

About the Hospital

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is a 346-bed acute care hospital located in Gadsden, Alabama, approximately 60 miles northeast of Birmingham. The hospital offers a broad range of services, including emergency care, cardiology and cardiac surgery, cancer care, women's and children's services, and inpatient and outpatient surgical services across multiple specialties. Gadsden Regional serves as a major healthcare provider for Etowah County and the surrounding region.
