Job Summary and Qualifications As a ICU Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing – caring for patients like family and improving lives every day. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey. Performing expert procedures and medication administration – including pain relief and fluid therapy – delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort. Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions. Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs. Qualifications Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of GA or Compact Multistate. At least 1 year of RN experience preferred; 6 months experience required. Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 8 shifts per month. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. We are an equal opportunity employer.
