Role Description The Quality Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process, and outgoing aviation parts and components to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include verifying documentation and certifications, performing visual and dimensional inspections, recording inspection results, and assisting with nonconformance identification and follow-up. The Quality Inspector collaborates with warehouse, operations, and quality teams to maintain traceability, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help uphold Newcastle Aviation’s quality management system. The role also involves maintaining organized inspection records, using measurement tools and equipment correctly, and supporting internal and external audits as needed. Qualifications Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, including experience inspecting aviation parts or technical components. Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management principles, preferably in an ISO- or AS-certified environment. Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, certifications, and inspection results accurately. Familiarity with aviation industry standards, regulatory requirements, or FAA guidelines is highly beneficial. Ability to read and understand technical documents, such as drawings, specifications, and certificates of conformity. Experience using inspection tools and measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or aviation-related coursework is a plus.
