The Role

RDA designs some of the most ambitious residential structures in Southwest Florida: luxury homes from 10,000 to 50,000 square feet, plus commercial projects, much of it coastal and pile-supported. In this seat you will carry projects as Engineer of Record, sign and seal your own work, and help develop the next generation of RDA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and design for high-end residential and commercial buildings
• Develop and review construction documents for pile-supported structures and coastal construction per ASCE 24, FEMA, and FBC
• Sign and seal structural documents as Engineer of Record
• Coordinate plans with architects and delegated engineers (mechanical, plumbing, trusses) and collaborate with in-house engineers, designers, and drafters
• Train junior engineers and oversee their projects
• Conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues in the field
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida
• 7+ years of structural design experience focused on high-end residential and commercial projects
• Experience with pile-supported structures and coastal construction
• Design experience across wood, masonry, steel, and concrete, with proficiency in AutoCAD

  Preferred Qualifications

• Enercalc and Revit experience
• Epicore, aluminum, and precast design experience
• Post-tension design experience
• Experience training and mentoring junior engineers

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $105,000 to $135,000 depending on experience and licensure

Location and Schedule

Location: Naples, FL, on site with remote flexibility as needed
