A community-focused healthcare organization in Eastern Oregon, near Cove, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established specialty care team focused on Sleep Medicine. This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offering a four-day workweek, no after-hours call, strong compensation, substantial CME support, student loan repayment, and structured mentorship for new graduates. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians and experienced clinical staff while helping patients improve sleep, energy, and long-term health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with a variety of sleep-related disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
• Review sleep study findings with physician support.
• Initiate and manage PAP therapy.
• Monitor treatment response and adherence.
• Educate patients regarding sleep hygiene, treatment options, and long-term management.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other members of the specialty care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support continuity of care and appropriate specialty referrals.
• Approximately 12 patients per day.

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position
• Four 10-hour days per week
• No after-hours call
• Outpatient specialty practice

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Appropriate national board certification or eligibility.
• Strong communication and patient-education skills.
• Interest in Sleep Medicine and longitudinal specialty care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• New graduates are welcome and will receive structured training and mentorship.
