Role Description Productions Plus is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a premium retail environment for an innovative consumer technology brand in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This temporary, on-site leadership role is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience while managing all aspects of daily retail operations. The Retail Manager will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence, consistent brand representation, and flawless execution of the client experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has experience managing store operations, staffing, customer engagement, merchandising, and performance. This individual will work closely with Productions Plus and client stakeholders to maintain brand standards, achieve program objectives, and drive store success. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. Recruit, schedule, coach, and develop retail staff while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture. Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback to drive accountability and results. Ensure operational excellence, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and product presentation. Maintain store appearance and compliance with client brand standards and operational guidelines. Support product demonstrations, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives. Monitor sales performance and store metrics, identifying opportunities to improve results. Manage inventory controls and retail loss prevention procedures. Resolve customer concerns professionally while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Partner closely with Productions Plus leadership and client stakeholders to communicate store performance, operational updates, and customer feedback. Support special retail events, product launches, and promotional campaigns as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in consumer technology, consumer electronics, premium retail, or experiential retail environments. Proven success leading and developing high-performing retail teams. Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills. Experience managing high-volume customer environments while maintaining exceptional service standards. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Experience with merchandising, inventory management, and retail operations. Knowledge of retail loss prevention and store compliance best practices. Ability to analyze store performance metrics and communicate results effectively. Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
