License: South Carolina license required in hand

Certifications: ACLS required

Must-Have: 1 year of experience in an LTAC setting preferred

Description: OPTION OF 13 or 26 week contract. 1 year of experience required. 3 x 12-hour shifts. Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. South Carolina license must be in hand to be considered. ACLS certification is required. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census averages 28 patients. Unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and respiratory services. Common patient diagnoses include acute respiratory failure and ventilator weaning. Expected patient ratio is 14 patients per therapist. Travelers must float to other units as necessary. Assistance with bronchoscopy and thoracentesis required. Staff will use ventilators and high flow oxygen delivery systems. Prior experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred. Modules are to be completed prior to the start of the contract. All agency staff must be qualified for tasks when floating to different units.
