Shipping Manager (3rd Shift)

Overview Ferguson is a Fortune500 company that supplies products, service and capabilities across multiple industries. We are seeking a Shipping Manager (3rd shift) to lead the shipping operations at our Coxsackie,NY Distribution Center. Responsibilities Workload planning, production, and execution of a fast‑paced operation with leadership and development of associates. Coordinate shift activities to include selection, shipping, receiving, cross‑docking and trailer loading operations. Establish weekly operations plans to ensure all customer volume is processed in a timely manner. Run DC’s quality functions: supervise internal/external quality controls; track service commitment levels and effectiveness; develop quality initiatives; implement standard methodologies. Balance workload planning to reach budget and production goals. Lead all aspects of inventory control in the warehouse and overall quality program to meet daily service levels and perfect order metrics. Champion employee engagement through coaching and development programs, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment while enhancing individual skills and career growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 2+ years’ management experience in supply chain distribution preferred. WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations. Project management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile). Previous experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring and development initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately to balance multiple demands and meet timelines. Compensation Pay Range: $4,331.70 – $9,529.30 (monthly for salaried roles or hourly for other roles). This role is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
