• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, thorough knowledge of support equipment, critical and non-critical equipment components, and equipment operational sequencing
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe)
• Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
• Rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches, brakes, etc.
• Verify and correct mechanical timing
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
• Identify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
• Identify, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
• Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus Salary Range- 34.15 90 Day Raise - $36.00/hr. Opportunity for an additional $2/hr. for nights and weekends.
