Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid/Remote Eligible) Duration: ~6 Months (Contract) Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00/hr (W2)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR People Operations Coordinator / Recruiting Coordinator to support high-volume Talent Acquisition operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless recruiting process by managing interview scheduling, coordinating logistics, and maintaining excellent candidate communication.
This is a fast-paced, tactical role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at multitasking, organization, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting Coordination & Scheduling
- Coordinate and schedule all stages of the interview process including phone screens, virtual, onsite, and panel interviews
- Manage complex calendars for recruiters and hiring managers across multiple time zones
- Ensure smooth scheduling logistics including meeting links, rooms, travel, and interview materials
- Candidate Experience & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding interview scheduling and updates
- Provide timely, professional, and friendly communication to candidates and internal stakeholders
- Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Administrative & ATS Support
- Track candidate progress and update interview feedback in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and documentation
- Assist in preparing offer letters and coordinating background checks
- Reporting & Operational Support
- Generate recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics as needed
- Support recruiting operations and process improvements
- Assist with additional administrative and coordination tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or administrative roles
- Strong calendar management and scheduling experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in high-volume recruiting environments
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo)
