What You'll Do

As a Plumbing Service Technician, you'll serve residential, multifamily, and light commercial customers throughout our service area. You'll be trusted to diagnose plumbing problems, educate customers, provide solutions, and complete high-quality repairs and replacements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose plumbing and drain problems and identify the best solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement options.
• Repair and replace water, waste, and vent piping systems.
• Clear clogged drains and diagnose drainage problems.
• Repair and replace faucets, toilets, valves, disposals, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
• Diagnose and repair water heaters and hot-water systems.
• Locate and repair water leaks.
• Perform plumbing inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Clearly explain findings and provide customers with repair and replacement options.
• Help customers make informed decisions without pressure.
• Complete accurate service notes, job documentation, photos, and material records.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and properly care for company tools and equipment.
• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Leave every customer and property better than you found it.

Who We're Looking For

This isn't an entry-level position. We're looking for experienced service professionals who are ready to perform at a high level.

Our ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience — required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience completing residential plumbing repairs and replacements
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• The ability to confidently explain findings and present multiple solutions
• A professional appearance and attitude
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• The ability to manage service calls independently and efficiently
• Comfort using tablets, mobile applications, and electronic service-management systems
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• The ability to work safely in crawl spaces, attics, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments
• Dependability, accountability, and a strong work ethic
• A team-first mentality and willingness to continue learning and improving

A plumbing license is preferred. Licensing requirements may vary depending on experience, position level, and assigned job responsibilities.

• Full-time
• 40-hour workweek based on assigned schedule
• 2 Sons Plumbing operates 7 days per week
• Overtime opportunities may be available
• NO AFTER-HOURS ON-CALL
