This opportunity is Full Time and consistently Day Shifts (6:45am 3:15pm) including every other weekend.Role Responsibilities:In conjunction with the Interdisciplinary team, oversee the care of all the residents on his/her neighborhood.Create and maintain a work environment that promotes and fosters a resident centered care model with a team approach.Initiate and complete all investigations of incidents on unit within five (5) calendar days of discovery. May assign designee in his/her absence. Ensure that proper documentation is completed. Keep Nursing Administration aware of all investigations and submits completed investigations to Nursing Administration.Ensure work schedules are completed for all team members according to approved budgetary guidelines.Oversee and contribute to recording of all documentation on unit including intake and output, weights, ambulation logs, etc.Monitor the units (by making "rounds", conducting audits, or completing surveys, etc.) to assure that all personnel are utilizing appropriate techniques regarding accident/incident prevention; sanitation; infection control; fire safety; disaster preparedness and emergency care.
