The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.Key ResponsibilitiesGuarantee the delivery of the signalling HW design for projects, including documentation of design, on schedule and budgetEnsure the setup of HW (including operating system installation, automated installation development, SW integration) and identifying and troubleshooting problems with both lab and production hardwareExecuting detailed hardware design, including documents and drawings as well as input to development, integration, testing, and maintenanceEnsure the control of design documents in accordance with company processesResponsible for leading reviews to detect design errors and ensure correctionEnsure the delivery of sub-systems or SW configurations for medium & small signalling project schemes including the production and check of the configuration documentsGuarantee requirements, designing, and testing according to allocated project requirementsGuarantee input data, the configuration documents and .exe files are issued and controlled in accordance with company processesDefining and executing the integration lab tests before handover of the executable files of the configured sub-systemsSkills & Experience:Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University DegreeMore than 5 years of professional experience in Signalling HW designValue CreationMarket and Customer OrientationExcellence in Achieving Assigned ObjectivesInnovation and Change ManagementAt Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
