This Program Management opportunity will be responsible for the execution of production and manufacturing contracts within the Tactical Data Links family of programs.This position has the responsibility for the leadership and management oversight of a project team assuring that project's financials, schedule, and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved while meeting all contractual commitments. Candidates for this role should have a demonstrated history in transitioning products from development to production and full rate production. The candidate must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and all Program Office functional leadership to assure deliveries continue to exceed customer commitments and achievement of financial commitments to the company.Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes projects for Production of hardware within the Tactical Data Links portfolio. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of proposals. The primary responsibilities of this role include:Provide leadership and management oversight, assuring the team's Program Area and Product Line objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.Accountable for all aspects of assigned program's execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risk management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases, ensuring program commitments are met while having the authority to make cogent and timely decisions related to the project.Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.Excellent executive presence and communication skills, including oral presentations and written correspondence.Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills while interfacing with program team members, company personnel, suppliers, and customers.Improves our work environment by promoting teamwork, wellness, workplace flexibility, modeling good behaviors, and increasing leadership engagement.Required Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of PM experience or similarSuccessful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.Expertise in project management, earned value management, risk management, and supply chain & subcontract management.Strong internal and external presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to organize with purpose to achieve goals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross functionally and across career levels, as well as with customer and suppliers.Experience in the development and production of high reliability electronics.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of experience.Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or Business Administration.Experience in new business capture.Detailed knowledge of the defense aerospace market and experience working with US Navy program offices, or other Armed Services Program offices.Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
