General Neurosurgeon Position – AdventHealth Waterman, Tavares, FL AdventHealth Waterman and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are expanding sub-specialty services and seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon to establish a new Neurosurgical Program and enhance existing neuroscience services across the East Florida Division. Responsibilities Perform full‑scope neurosurgery, including craniotomy, spinal cases, and minimally invasive procedures. Utilize new microscope and Stryker Navigation system for open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve cases. Coordinate with a team of 3 surgeons for cross‑coverage support; provide 24/7 ICU coverage as required. Work with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to support both inpatient and outpatient services. Contribute to advancing AdventHealth into a world‑class neurosurgery destination. Participate in inpatient and outpatient neurology services on site and within the system. Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery through the American Board of Neurological Surgeons (ABNS). Experience with full‑scope neurosurgery and familiarity using microscope and navigation technologies. Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills.
