Material Handler

We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable Material Handler to join our Denver operations team. In this role, you will support warehouse and distribution activities by safely receiving, storing, moving, and preparing industrial gas cylinders and related products for shipment. Location: Denver, CO

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stage, and move compressed gas cylinders and related products throughout the facility.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify inventory for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cylinder carts, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Ensure cylinders and materials are properly stored according to company and safety guidelines.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, hazardous material, and company safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Support additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
• Ability to work safely around industrial gases and compressed cylinders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy materials and gas cylinders.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and material handling tools.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
