Electrician

Job Title: Electrician (Commercial)

Location: Lancaster, SC

Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Month)

Compensation: $28.00-$34.00/hr

Work Model: Onsite - Job Site

Hours: 45+

Responsibilities

• Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to execute work correctly.
• Running conduit, pulling wire, installing panels, switchgear, lighting, receptacles, and other electrical components per drawings and specifications.
• Diagnosing electrical faults, testing circuits, and repairing or replacing defective equipment and wiring.
• Operating hand and power tools, testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.), and using materials efficiently to minimize waste.
• Performing all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements, without requiring constant supervision.
• Following PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific safety protocols.
• Completing timesheets, material usage logs, and reporting progress or issues to the Foreman.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in electrical work
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and availability to work on-site
• Valid electrician license or certification ( preferred )
