Job Summary


As a Quality Auditor, you'll ensure that products meet established standards of quality, safety, and compliance by performing detailed inspections. Quality Auditors identify defects, communicate nonconformances, and work closely with multiple teams to correct issues and prevent recurrence. A background in manufacturing and familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems will be important for this role.


Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 5:00am-3:30pm

Pay

• $25.00-$28.50/hour, based on experience
• Weekly paychecks every Friday

Location and Work Environment

• Openings at both Champlin, MN and Dayton, MN facilities
• Clean working environment
• Option to wear one earbud on the production floor

Responsibilities and Duties

• Monitor product quality throughout production to ensure standard compliance
• Review revision levels on drawings, BOMs, and documentation prior to inspection
• Verify product conformity using engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Complete in-process, first-article, and final inspections using measurement tools and inspection equipment
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records using ERP systems
• Identify nonconforming products and effectively communicate findings with appropriate teams
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective action activities
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized inspection area
• Follow all quality procedures

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in electrical equipment or switchgear/switchboard production (preferred)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems
• Software proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with ERP systems and quality management systems (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High school diploma OR equivalent (required)
